Today is the day of my scheduled lab test for fiance visa at 4 bentinck mansions (kniggtbridge doctors) london. I went out early as im afraid to be late and having a penalty of 95 pounds to pay. Thats me nervous.
I rode the bus then had a walk. I finally found the place… it just looks… amazing

They told me to come back as i was too early at 8:45am. My scheduled time is 10:10am. So i decided to go for Hsbc and try to fix my bank issues. To which i was lucky i was able to get it all done.
I came back 9:45am and still early. But they already ask me to wait by the waiting room and the lady took all my documents. Which were 4 pictures, letter from the us embassy with the case number, passport, uk police certificate, vaccination record ( luckily i had this with me which was for australia application at first turns out it became handy now) , US medical questionnaire form ..then she let me answer a questionnaire for the doctor about current illness or hospitalization and stuff which i mostly answered i dont have them hehe.
After giving it back, i waited quietly at the waiting room. Then the nurse called me. She took me to a room and she checked my vaccination chart. She said i lack tetanus only so i told her ill just take the vaccine..which is 35 pounds.
After that injection she called the xray technician. To which i went to another room and did as told to remove my clothes and wear their gown. I had my chest xray done. Waah i saw my scoliosis huhu
Then the doctor called me already. And so she interviewed me with the questionnaire i answered. And it was easy all i say is i dont have any illness or surgery and i dont smoke or drink and i dont engage in sexual activity so i dont have stds. Then i said all i have is i do wear an eyeglass.
She then did the snellen chart to test my eyesight. Then she asked me to lie down on the bed as she did a full physical checkup. I did remove my leggings and socks too hehe luckily she was a girl doctor as i only have the gown on. She took my BP then took bloods.
After which she said go ahead and get dressed. Then she said we are done.if you havent heard from us for 2 days it means we will forward your result to US embassy.
She took me to the waiting room again and told me to wait there. Meanwhile another lady called me to go to the reception. And i paid a total of 250 pounds for medical exam plus 35 pounds for tetanus vaccine. She returned all my documents and wished me well.
I left Knightbridge doctors then i decided that i have time to get my bike in cambridge. I booked an off peak train to cambridge for 16.50 pounds. I rode the train and i met my old flatmate coincidentally… 🙂  i was so happy to see her.
I went back to cambridge and was lucky my flatmate cooked some lasagna and it was perfect timing. After i ate it he escorted me to cambridge station to go back to london with my bike.
Then the challenge when i arrived London. At first i didnt have any idea as to how to get my bike upstairs to go out…so luckily i thought of looking for a lift. Then i was able to go out of liverpool street station. I had to walk and cycle my way back to my temporary house and it took 1 hour 10 mins.
It was a very productive day for me.im hoping ill be able to cope for my first shift tomorrow in my new hospital.
I thank God for making it all happen according to my plan for today.
